I have been using Gizmo for quite a while instead of Skype when having to call regular phone lines through voice-over-IP. It seems however that the Gizmo project is now offering a wonderful deal when you regularly have to call standard phone lines: you don't have to pay anything anymore! Just have your friends register themselves as Gizmo users, and provided that they use the software once in a while, you can freely call them on their registered traditional phone numbers.
Time to send out some invitations now ...
